About the Game

Neko to Hajimaru Yasashii Hibi is a slow-burn visual novel about two broken people finding warmth in the most unexpected of circumstances.

Taro Yamada is a quietly exhausted salaryman going through the motions of a life that has slowly stopped feeling like his own. One rainy night, he finds a young neko girl collapsed outside his apartment door — cold, silent, and bearing wounds that go much deeper than the ones visible on her skin.

He brings her inside. She doesn't speak. She doesn't eat. She barely seems present at all.

What follows is not a grand love story. It is something quieter — the careful, tentative process of learning to trust again. One small gesture at a time. One shared meal. One morning where things feel, just slightly, less heavy than the day before.

Some wounds take a long time to heal. This is a story about being patient with that.
